Hi :) I'm so glad you're here!

I'm Sydney, a lifestyle photographer located in Central Illinois.

HOW DID IT START?

As a child, I found enjoyment in taking photos. Whether that was on my grandmas phone, my iPod touch, or one of the digital cameras I convinced my parents to buy. As much as I liked taking photos, I didn't feel confident while taking them, or confident that they "looked nice". I thought about becoming a photographer while I was in high school, but thought it looked too big for me at the time. Not too long after high school, I became a SAHM, and at the beginning of 2023, it really became evident that I needed a hobby. While having a conversation with a family member, I was reminded of the hobby I once wanted to pursue. After lots of thought, prayer, and consideration, I decided to reach out to a friend that was a photographer for some camera recommendations. She offered to lend me an old camera she had that was just sitting around, and from that point, things escalated quickly :)

Other than A photographer, I'm..

A wife. I married my husband Loren in June of 2022. I'm so thankful for all he does for me, including being a wonderful photographers assistant from time to time ;)

A mom. We welcomed our first child, Jase, in August of 2022, our second child, Callan, in January 2024, and our third child, Tripp in April 2026. It's such a blessing to stay home with them.

His daughter. I am so thankful for the redemption and provisions I have found through Christ alone. I once was lost, but was found in December of 2022, and saved by his grace in October of 2023.
